November 20, 2025Elaine Turley transitioned from private practice in 2023 after closing the Law Office of Elaine Turley, PLLC in 2019. In retirement, she has embraced a diverse portfolio of meaningful pursuits: managing her family’s real estate investments, providing pro bono legal services and guardianship advocacy, exploring the world through travel, and pursuing her passion for scuba diving.
Elaine finds great fulfillment in her volunteer work with families navigating disability-related guardianship matters. She values her collaboration with Legal Services of Long Island and states,
“Working with the dedicated, caring and professional staff at Legal Services of Long Island has given me a sense of purpose and has enhanced my retirement tremendously. I appreciate the opportunity LSLI and the Suffolk Bar Association have given me to be of service to my community.”
Through her continued commitment to legal advocacy and community service, Elaine demonstrates that retirement can be a chapter of renewed purpose and meaningful contribution. Because of her incredible volunteer services, it is the Suffolk County Bar Association’s honor to name Elaine Turley as Pro Bono Lawyer of the Month.
