March 2025 – Vincent Cuocci, Esq.
November 20, 2025Vahagn Krmoyan, Esq. was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and moved to the United States in 1999 with a strong desire to become a productive and contributing member of society. From a young age, he was drawn to public service and sought ways to make a positive impact. This passion led to a distinguished 15-year career with the New York Police Department (NYPD), where he served as both a police officer and a Sergeant. Throughout his career with the NYPD, he worked in a variety of specialized units, including highway patrol, domestic violence unit, internal affairs, and the legal bureau, demonstrating a commitment to public safety, justice, and accountability.
After years of service in law enforcement, he transitioned to the field of law, where he now focuses on bankruptcy law, real estate, and immigration. With a strong foundation in public service, he continues to dedicate his career to helping others, using his legal expertise to provide support and guidance in these important areas of law. When asked why he does Pro Bono work, he states, “Outside of my legal practice, I remain passionate about giving back to the community, always striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.” Vahagn Krmoyan has provided many hours of pro bono services and has been an essential part of the Legal Services of Long Island’s Bankruptcy Clinic as a volunteer attorney, helping to give a fresh start to low-income individuals on Long Island.
Congratulations to Vahagn Krmoyan on being honored this month as the Pro Bon Lawyer of the month by the Suffolk County Bar Association.
