June 28, 2014It is with great sadness that Nassau Suffolk Law Services and the Pro Bono Project acknowledge the passing of Val Cherkoss. He was honored recently as Pro Bono Attorney of the Month in November 2013. His generosity of spirit and legal expertise easily earned him this distinction in service. Val was a person who shared our vision and the pro bono spirit. He will be greatly missed.
