November 20, 2025William Turley was born and raised in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. He graduated from Brooklyn College in 1980 with a B.A. in Psychology. He graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago (University of Illinois) in 1983 and is admitted to practice in New York and Illinois.
Bill is the founding partner of Turley, Redmond & Rosasco, a Long Island-based law firm concentrating on the areas of Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Law. He retired from the firm in 2024 and remains Of Counsel.
Bill spent much of his career advocating for injured workers and individuals with disabilities. He served as President of the New York State Injured Workers’ Bar Association for three years and has actively lobbied in Albany to protect workers’ rights. He is a long-time member of Lions Clubs International and recently passed his 25-year mark.
Bill has recently joined the Suffolk Pro Bono Project team as a volunteer attorney, devoting many hours to helping clients in need of guardianship petition paperwork. He has assisted numerous parents with complex case assistance as they navigate the legal process to support their disabled children.
Bill and his wife, Elaine (also an attorney) have two adult children, Brendan and Erica. They live in New York City. He enjoys walking, swimming, scuba diving and guitar playing.
