November 20, 2025Christine R. Shiebler, Esq. joined Futterman Lanza, LLP in March 2022, and has been practicing for over 30 years. Christine Shiebler concentrates her practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Tax Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, and Trusts/Trusts Administration. In her practice, she also handles Estate Litigation and Guardianships. She has extensive experience in the areas of Trusts and Estates, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Medicaid Planning.
Christine is an active member of the Elder Law Section and Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association. She is also proud to be a member of the Elder Law and Estate Planning Committee as well as the Surrogate’s Court Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is former co-chair of the Surrogate’s Court Committee at the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is a member of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association and was a member of its Board for over 15 years. She is also a member of the Suffolk County Office for the Aging Senior Citizen Advisory Board. Christine has served as a Court appointed Guardian ad Litem for many years in the Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court. It is important to Christine to stay actively connected with her colleagues and ahead of the laws and trends regarding estates, elder law and estate planning.
Christine Shiebler is a graduate of Boston University School of Law. Christine received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University where she studied abroad in China. Throughout her career, she has taught Continuing Education classes in Trusts and Estates topics for the Suffolk Academy of Law and the National Business Institute and has lectured on elder law topics at St. Joseph College.
Ms. Shiebler actively supports her local community through volunteer work at Legal Services of Long Island, where she helps income-eligible clients navigate advance planning options. Her work ensures that all community members have access to the resources they need to make informed decisions about their future with dignity and autonomy.
