June 5, 2019We're hiring! Spread the word!
June 7, 2019Disabled Suffolk County residents need your help!
Nassau Suffolk Law Services needs additional volunteers for its two limited scope pro bono projects to serve our disabled neighbors: SSI/SSD Application Project and the 17-A Guardianship Project, to meet the high client demand for these services. All attorneys can participate, even those with no prior experience. The commitment is short-term and limited to just the application/petition preparation. The training for these projects (free CLE video recordings, viewable in your office or home), the written materials, and client-meeting space, if needed, are all provided by NSLS.
Anyone interested in learning more about either project is urged to contact NSLS’s Suffolk Pro Bono Project Coordinator, Carolyn Mcquade at (631) 232-2400, or cmcquade@nsls.legal or Register Here!
