Ivan E. Guerrero, Principal of Guerrero Law Office, P.C., began his legal career in the mid-1990s when he was hired as a paralegal at Shapiro and Kreisman. This early experience sparked his interest in bankruptcy law and foreclosure defense litigation, which have remained central to his practice throughout his career. He graduated from Touro Law School in 1997 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Now in his 29th year of practice, Mr. Guerrero has built his firm on a commitment to providing knowledgeable, accessible representation in consumer bankruptcy law. He carries that same commitment to access to justice into his pro bono work with Legal Services of Long Island, where he provides Spanish-speaking clients with compassionate and clear bankruptcy counsel, helping ensure that language is never a barrier to understanding their legal rights or receiving the legal assistance they need.
