Congratulations to the Suffolk County Bar Association (SCBA) for being selected as the recipient of the American Bar Association’s prestigious Harrison Tweed Award.

This national recognition celebrates the extraordinary achievements of state and local bar associations who develop stellar programs that increase access to civil legal services for persons living in poverty. Scott Karson, Past President of the Suffolk County Bar Association, partner in the firm Lamb & Barnosky LLP, and Vice Chair of the NSLS Board of Directors, accepted the award on August 3, 2018 on behalf of the SCBA at the ABA’s Annual Meeting in Chicago.  NSLS is proud to call the SCBA our valued pro bono partner and applaud this well deserved recognition.
