The National Weather Service has issued a number of cold weather advisories and warnings for our area. In preparation for the incoming cold temperatures, the Health & Welfare Council of Long Island has compiled a list of local resources.

Nassau County Warming Locations and Centers

Nassau County has opened warming centers through February 5. Please check the Health & Welfare Council’s page for up-to-date information.

In Suffolk County, warming center openings fall under the jurisdiction of the towns and other localities.
